The Boedo Quartet takes an innovative approach which seeks to establish a dialogue between classical music and other popular genres, offering an eclectic repertoire that encompasses both academic works and modern pieces.
Through its repertoire, the Boedo Quartet aims to break down barriers that have traditionally existed in academic music and created cultural boundaries that hinder accessibility for non-specialist audiences. Its music aims to dismantle these myths and connect classical music and new audiences through a fusion with urban music and other contemporary genres.
Based on this premise, the quartet offers interactive experiences designed to create channels of communication with the audience, generating a two-way exchange in the artistic process at each concert. Each performance invites the audience to learn about the composers of the works presented, their context, their history, what inspired their creations, and interesting facts that allow for a deeper understanding of their music.
